Atlas Interactive in partnership with Mobily host their 2nd Meet and greet

Atlas Interactive continues to empower MENA mobile communication operators with special activities aimed at increasing their goodwill with their customer base and creating buzz in the market. It does so from having a leadership position in the integrated digital industry and outstanding connections with prominent international brand owners. Capitalizing on how soccer immensely reverberates with the youth across MENA, a mobile soccer competition was born out of Atlas Interactive’s exclusive rights to the unique Meet & Greet program of the Chelsea Football Club (CFC) and its strategic partnership with leading mobile operator Mobily in KSA. It was held in 2012, and it met with a phenomenal success that warranted building further on it in 2013. 40 Saudi winners were sent on a fully paid trip to the UK where they visited CFC and its fabulous museum with its impressive line-up of trophies, and the city itself. The winners attended a game at Stamford Bridge stadium, in addition to the Player of the Year event where they interacted in person with famed CFC player David Luiz and received signed T shirts. In sum, they lived an exhilarating experience of excitement and close discovery of one of the most successful soccer clubs in the world. To those lucky winners, it was the dream of a lifetime come true and lots of happy stories brought back home, which captured the imagination of fellow soccer fans and created an air of anticipation for a second wave of winners. Seizing the public’s mood, Atlas Interactive and Mobily organized a repeat of the mobile soccer competition which was launched on 4th March 2013, with the aim of making 20 more winners benefit from a similar itinerary, including meeting with the CFC player who will be crowned as Player of the Year 2013. A professional photographer will accompany the Saudi winners as well as the Atlas Interactive and Mobily teams throughout the trip, in order to capture its highlight moments of hype, fun and learning, in both still shots and video. Abir Mehawej, Managing Director of Atlas Interactive, said: 'By this CFC Meet & Greet format, and other co-branded programs that Atlas Interactive can put together in view of its state-of-the-art capabilities and massive outreach, we are positioned as the partner of choice for mobile operators in the MENA region who would like to optimize on their marketing by means of innovative and impactful solutions.'
