Atlas Interactive (Middle East) Launches the Official Real Madrid Fútbol Club Arabic Website

Real Madrid Club de Fútbol has signed an exclusive partnership with Atlas Premium Brands (APB), a company majority owned by Atlas Group of Companies, for the execution, management and marketing of Real Madrid's official Arabic website Atlas Interactive Middle East was entrusted by APB with the complete development and content editing of the website as well as the marketing opportunities across the Arabic speaking territory.

For the first time, 300 million Middle East-based football fans can log on to Real Madrid's website for real-time Club news, results and features exclusively in Arabic. Oscar Ugaz, Online Marketing and Digital Business Manager of Real Madrid added:

The official Arabic website will feature real time daily club news, match and score updates, videos featuring player interviews, press conferences, news and match reports, photos of Real Madrid players in action, and legendary players for users in the Arab Nations.

On Facebook (, Twitter ) and blogs, the Arabic language version is built around social and interactive media components. Fans will be able to share their opinions and thoughts directly with the club's community. The soft launch of the website took place in May 2010 and attracted more than 18,000 unique visitors on its opening day. Within less than 2 months, more than 200,000 visitors and 800,000 page views were traced through Google analytics. Our expectations for the 2010 season are very high and we strongly believe that this figure will increase significantly.
