Capitalizing on how soccer immensely reverberates with the youth across MENA, a most exciting mobile soccer competition was born out of Atlas Interactive synergizing between its exclusive rights to the unique Meet & Greet program of the Chelsea Football Club (CFC) and its strategic partnership with leading mobile operator Mobinil in Egypt. 10 Egyptian winners will be sent on a fully paid trip to the UK where they will visit CFC and its fabulous museum and trophies, and the city itself. The winners will attend a game at Stamford Bridge stadium, in addition to the Player of the Year event where they’ll interact in person with a famed CFC player and receive signed T shirts. In sum, they will live an exhilarating experience of close discovery of both a foreign country and one of the most successful soccer clubs in the world. This vast campaign which was launched on January 7th over a six weeks’ duration also featured other prizes to be won, such as daily Samsung smartphones, official CFC goodies and 10-days free Chelsea news subscriptions. A vast marketing campaign was aired during premium and peak times of prominent TV channels and shows. The mix included Al Hayah, Al Nahar, Al Nahar Sports, CBC, CBC + 2, Panorama Action, Rotana Cinema, Dream I, Dream II, Mehwer, Modern, Al Kahera Wel Nas. To the lucky winners of the CFC trip, it’ll be the dream of a lifetime come true and lots of happy stories to be brought back home.
